Didn’t we have a free & fair election? Though it wasn’t totally fair as not a single media outlet supported or was sympathetic to Labor. The corporate media were all leaning heavily to the LNP & the progressive media all favoured tminority gov with the Greens & teals holding the balance.

Maybe it’s the only way he can afford to interact with others.

It also works with some voters who shifted from Labor to Greens but then got upset with some of their antics. It helped them feel ok about going back to Labor, they weren’t deserting a movement just another political party.

It can work on low information voters who might identify with the perceived anti establishment image of the Greens. By constantly saying Green Political Party it reminds such voters that the Greens are just another political party. I don’t think the impact is massive but is part of the framing.

But it actually does work to an extent, that’s why the Greens get upset by it
