Reject outrage, embrace reality.
I also found it on They vote for you. Same Job Same Pay is listed as the Closing Loopholes legislation.

Friendlyjordies is doing a live stream at the moment on YouTube responding to criticism of the political donations reform. He's covering who independents are and what they really represent.

In contrast to Labor's block voting, a minority government provides more opportunities for lobbyists to persuade MPs to obstruct policy.

A senate minority alone has delivered weaker results as urgently needed housing policy delayed, vaping regulations weakened and environmental reform rejected. 2/2

In contrast the LNP continually cut public services, slash workers rights, abolished the mining tax & implement CGT discounts.

How out of touch do you need to be to comfortably claim that Labor is in any way similar to the LNP? 3/3

Labor's the only party to invest in public services, to expand on workers rights, to tax the mining industry and commit to the removal of negative gearing & CGT discounts. 2/3

He follows with references to Punter's Politics while failing to mention any association with Climate 200.

Anyone pretending that they would be more successful is promising an outcome they know they won't have to deliver.

Let's also not forget that Labor attempted to impose a 40% tax rate on all extractive industry last time they were in government - a failed manoeuvre which also saw them condemned to opposition for a decade. (4/5)

Since forming government Labor has made changes to how revenue is collected from gas companies resulting in their contribution to government revenue nearly tripling.

Should it be more? Sure, but I'd rather see an increase in revenue that is achievable than no increase at all. (3/5)

This carefully picked cherry paints Labor as being in the pockets of gas companies and not doing anything to tax them - which couldn't be further from the truth. (2/5)

It puts everyone on a level playing field. Both ALP & LNP will campaign on less money ensuring that it remains competitive. It's a case of sour grapes from individuals who want to retain the right to spend their way into parliament.

Because he (and his PR network) are some of the most vocal opponents to capping political donations.

With enough money, 'influencers' & the power of social media they us what to think and make us believe it was our own idea. 3/3 #auspol
