in such a scenario Canadians still have all their domestic aviation and petrochemicals, gas for heating, cheeseburgers, and even coal on the grids in SK, NS, NB. Exported oil is a huge contributor to our carbon footprint because the industry is SO energy intensive.

Yeah, I meant to include the caveat that my thing is not going to work for everyone but I ran out of characters, other things that we have tried in the past that seem to have helped have been stuff like vitamin D supplements, vitamin b12 injections, neurofeedback therapy, we’ve tried a lot of things

My antidepressant of choice has been biking, I love that I get to commute and get exercise, without the friction of going to a gym, my studded tires were life-changing for winter, and bike infrastructure in Edmonton is slowly improving, also e-bikes make it so much more accessible.

i really liked Nate Silver’s book “the signal and the noise” but I think he’s spent too much time on X and chatGPT so he’s lost a lot of curiosity/humility, which is what that book was all about.

the Foote experiment is pretty easy to replicate too if I’m not mistaken, all You need is a couple of air tight containers, two thermometers, some sunlight, and a source of CO2 which could be as easy as exhaling.

One of my favourite concerts ever was seeing Jeff Healy at the Kitchener Waterloo Blues festival, we were visiting the city and didn’t know what to do and I found out about the festival in the yellow pages of the phone book in the hotel room.

We had just finished doing our only musical performance as a band, we went to the video rental place and picked “The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra”. We only had 3 quarters but there was a gumball machine that had a free rental if you got a white 1, we got it on the 3rd try, we ROFLed during the movie
