Correction: Vigors are MORE potent, yet more expensive to make. So my point is moot. I assume the justification is that Vigors were rarer in Rapture? Again, there's still problems with retconning this into Bioshock 1.

It's been a while since I've played the DLC, but I thought the justification was that Vigors are more diluted, less powerful, (and I think less addictive?) than Plasmids due to being made into a drink rather than a solution designed to be injected, but it's still stupid because of the other reasons.

I don't blame you, they're practically non-existent in some routes. The route I picked was ALL about them and I got a massive lore drop because of it.
