Best guess is they are launched via a wheeled carriage like similar drones. The carriage is unattached and reusable.

You can right click on any building in the randomly generated city and open in Dwellings. It generates the building layout and side views. DM easy mode. Jaw droppingly great.

Finally, I was given the correct setting to remove "Help me write."
Solution: Turn off Gemini in the BRAND NEW Gemini for Google Workspace setting.

Google Gemini is in control. Even if you have Gemini disabled in the Google Workspace Admin Console, Gemini is offering to help you write your emails and learn from them. That's in every school and business email account through Google worldwide as far as I can tell. Class action suit anyone???
