We use American cheese. Rolled into little cheese balls. Three "clean" and one pilled.

Then it's toss and catch. Mixing up which one has the pill (never the first) to get their guard down.

Pretty sure ours don't even try to chew and just swallow half the time!

He did, in fact, get his beloved chicken. (It's his favorite toy, he noses it, then barks at it. He's shredded most every other toy.)
