The font I'm using is a 100% free font (or typeface if you want to get technical) called Procrastinating Pixie, which was made well before KPop Demon Hunters was a thing (April 8, 2020).

My plan is to use the current logo I made, but if it fails validation, I'll switch to a backup logo.

Just a fair warning that HUNTR/X Havoc's logo might change due to a brand island guideline that you can't use the official logo or similarly styled logos.

I have a version of the logo without the glitch effects, but I think the glitchy logo fits the theme of the update (and is also a reference to the official Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix teaser videos).

So I made this post before watching the movie and I watched the movie the night of the day I made the post...

As I was watching it, I was questioning more and more how I'd actually make it fit into Rainbow Island's story. This would 100% require me to change existing plans I had about updates.

If worst comes to worse, I promise I'll still get the Hopeful Havoc v2 song out in some form because it's meant to go with Rainbow Island v1.13. If I can't get the update developed, I don't want the song going to waste.

v38.00 felt like an anomaly due to previous updates being just fine with better settings, but v38.10 hasn't helped...

I barely squeezed out Rainbow Island v1.12.01 and I had to run both UEFN and the live edit session with low settings and even that kinda struggled.

The update itself should theoretically not take too long to actually make as it's only some minor map changes. It's just that UEFN was incredibly unstable while trying to make v1.12.01, so I hope the v38.10 Fortnite update makes it less likely to crash my game.

Yeah, that's it for this rant/vent thread from me.

I really enjoy working on Rainbow Island (at least when UEFN decides to cooperate with me lol), and I'd really hate to have to end it so soon.

I promise I will make a post when I officially decide whether to stop at v1.13 or not.

Of course there is also the rumored collab with that deeply conservative and heavily bigoted franchise about Bri'ish wizards and witches.

If Hogwarts Legacy is anything to go by, no amount of internet boycotts will stop this collab from selling insanely well.
