That's okay. I have been known to flop on the execution of my ideas on occasion as well. Seems to be part of the human condition. That and generally being wrong.

I'm intrigued by this idea. I do like raw veggies with some kind of dip.

It's not though. There's a ton of progressives in Texas. It's just gerrymandered all to hell, strategically and specifically to suppress the power of their votes.

I was just trying to figure out what happened between then and now to cause this and the collective amnesia about it. You're right.

This past weekend was absolutely stunning here and I am grateful for having had the clear skies and gentle breeze for some much-needed time in the outdoors with friends, but yes. The drought here is rough.

Bright and clear and wild here in Maine. But I worked solo for 12 hours (I do not recommend going to the emergency department on a full moon Monday 🫠😭), so I saw it, admired it for a few minutes, and was so tired I fell asleep on the couch probably under 15 minutes into my book after dinner.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those kids then go out of their way to find out what their parents don't want them to learn. Children are born with minds of their own. Our beliefs and desires are but a suggestion, ultimately.

They really are.

I read a book years ago that was set in the world of Persian carpets and the weaving thereof. "The Blood of Flowers", Anita Amirrezvani. It was such a good read I was sad when I finished it.

My birthday was on the 10th, and I went to a pottery painting studio with two of my friends. We went back today to pick up what we'd painted and to paint more. The paintbrush handle on this was what won me initially and I really like the way it came out. It looks like one of my actual brushes ❤️
