I would love to see some real reporting on the daily life of Elon Musk.

What is out there is not real journalism… and they say he breaks his time up into 5 minute blocks — but then takes his kids to school (I’m assuming that’s more than 5 minutes)… and works out for 20 minutes (plus changing?)…

A $1B budget shortfall is facing Coloradans… funding that supports K12, Higher Ed, Medicare, and other government social services and infrastructure.

Why? Because of TABOR caps.

I’m at the Aurora Democratic Breakfast this morning. Electeds are giving reports on how they are preparing for “Operation Aurora”.

Currently:
- Aurora Public Schools does not allow ICE on school campuses.
- Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office will not send information to ICE.

Without minimizing the state of the world & what is likely to come…

I truly believe the American people are resilient.

We will come out on the other side… my hope is that we come out with better, more equitable systems.

I want to work to ensure we have the right people leading us there.

I keep thinking about all the energy I have wasted trying to control things outside of my control… when I should have spent that energy making my own block, my own neighborhood, my own community better.

Organizing really should be done one neighbor at a time. One house at a time.
