I appreciate it, I’ve got another friend of mine who’s a vet and she’s been helping me out a bunch with the VA as well. I’m sure once I start the process with them though I’ll have a million questions lol

Absolutely, I just generally avoid encouraging violence, sorta need the paycheck for the time being what with the cost of living being impossibly high.

At this point though, I’m struggling to see it going any other way

So, speaking from firsthand military experience. Yes, some absolutely would, but there’s also a lot that wouldn’t. I’ve spoken to many of my coworkers about this potential, and we are all of the same mind. Every branch, base, and unit is full of different people, with different beliefs.

I’m just as in the dark as everyone else. As much as I’d rather not leave the country at a time like this, once my contract is up I’m moving to the UK to marry my fiancé. Right now, ensuring I get through this for him is my biggest priority. For sure, keep your loved ones close, and stick together

I mean, at this point activism, voting, etc. are all good choices. But maybe being prepared catastrophe, this all has the potential to get way worse before it gets better. Not that I’m encouraging violence, but preparing to defend from it might be wise should this not get nipped in the bud quick 1/2

Doing what I can I guess, which isn’t much at the moment. Sadly the military is mostly business as usual for the moment, at least where I am, while we wait for further guidance such.
