Spent a few minutes this morning cleaning up an Animal-Crossing Auri that I drew in 2020. Currently wishing that my laundry pile was a problem that could be solved with an axe.

What happens when a gelatinous cube finds a gryphon skeleton and decides to use it as a template to become less of a square? This does.

Doodle page. Apparently, when you let a character sit in the NPC Box (or the Minor-Side-Character Box) for too long, they’ll feel a need to make up for lost time when they escape. And I think he’s been in the background since 2013 without a finalized design…

I have been attempting to update Taban’s reference sheet. Without success. Decided that if the fire-mage gryphon wanted to look like a dumpster fire, it was time to let him be one for a bit. (Doodle to express my frustration, lol)

Jhulvar Ran’Tadira, aka Jewel, is being a colossal pain right now. Been trying to put together a full-body reference and he is complicated. Anyone else ever establish a character in a story, without any intent to illustrate them, and then end up Regretting Your Choices years down the line? 🤪

Dar had been kicking around for almost a decade without a colored ref. I always thought he should resemble his brother (pictured below, very old art) but greener and more tired-looking. Happy to have finally pinned down what that looks like!

I’ve had this character in the background of my stories since at least 2017, but for some reason I’d never managed to draw her. Long-overdue! (She’s the wife of the dragon I recently dressed up in a nurse costume.)

Friends had been drawing their dragon characters in drag, and I had to join in. This character has a looong history of practicing medicine for dragons; I’m assuming he got roped into joining a comedy skit at a charity fundraiser. Females of his species don’t even have mammary glands, haha.
