Understood. I think public perception on taxing income would shift if there were lives to level the playing field on wealth, as well as clear investment in public goods. For those de facto excluded from wealth, a well paid job feels like the only way to a semblance of security.

Agree with more gradual progressivisity, but surely taxing wealth should be a priority?
