The Olympia's are back. Those tiny ones are both the oldest oysters of the bunch and the tastiest. I hope they have some at the farm this week. Also learned that the Shigoku are just younger Fat Bastards! #taylorshellfish.

Between June Part 1 and these, we packed most of our stuff in storage and the rest into 2 cars and headed north but took a break to say hi to the new Filoli trolls. I'm loving the water and the mountains and the air and the space.

June in pics Part 1. Firenze was wonderful. Rome felt like it suffers from all the killing and conquering and oppressing it has done. Vatican was equal parts gaudy, impressive, and discomforting.

Fantastic show last night. If they're coming to your town, definitely consider it. Don't rush to catch the opener though 😮

Well, this was our last Kauai sunset for the trip. Tomorrow is back to work. I suppose I should look at the news too... Remember, 90% of what that man says is designed to confuse, enrage or otherwise knock us off center as a mechanism to obfuscate what is really being done.

Last sunset into the ocean before returning to prep for the new job. Also, pretty seal dinner detritus on the beach.

Failed to capture evidence but touching the ocean within minutes of entering a new year was awesome. I hope it is an early indicator for the year ahead 🙂.
