HB24 Reforms the "tyrant's veto", where small groups of landowners were given outsized power to block housing reforms. This bill improves the ability of cities to adapt zoning rules and gives all residents an equal say over zoning decisions.

Austin City Council votes 10-1 to legalize 5-story single-stair apartments, making Austin the largest US city outside of NYC to legalize single-stair! 🎉🎉🎉
