Sorry, it doesn't work that way. You gain -1 for crits once, it doesn't change with levels. (otherwise at level 10 you would get infinite damage). And in general critical value is limited to 8 or higher, no effect can lower it below that even if stacked.

Its an anime series that led me to finding Sword World TTRPG and then fan translating most of its books. It holds a special place in my heart. Its a good anime, not perfect, but fun.

Lodoss is in the same setting Forcelia as first edition of Sword World RPG (1.0) from 1989, but compatible with this system only via 1998 supplement for it. Lodoss had 3 separate TTRPGs created for it (1989, 1995, 2018). Current Sword World 2.5 is set in a different world of Raxia.

Feel free to translate books yourself and publish that. We're passionate about Sword World but perfecting every sentence would take months for just one book, leading to burnout and project dying after one book. Glad it will be released officially and they can spend time/people as much as they want.
