This certainly sits more on the Indie side but The mountain Goats album ‘Beat the Champ’ which is a concept album about professional Wrestling is wildly fun.

Could turn into a very benign slice of life.

I agree, my GM for RuneQuest is my father in law and getting him to run over a video call is enough. If the hobbie required the same skills as a gamer that would just feed the power gamers and leave the older/roleplay focused players in the dust.
