Danish/British. Write, paint, walk the dog and read, love Beethoven, Mozart, Carl Nielsen, Bach, Schumann. Leaning heavily to the left. Fear for my child's and grandchildren's future. No hook-ups or sex-bots. No posts: no follow-back. No DMs.
In honour of the stunning weather Laika and I dug deep into our aged, depleted energy supplies and wandered the perimeter of Culzean Country Park for 3 hours this morning

Bluebells, Pinkbells and Whitebells. Is this normal? - it is the first year I have seen those colours in one patch.

If I lived in the US I'd have this post blown up to massive poster size and put it up everywhere there was a surface. Mothers know.

My sister and I backpacked together for over 30 years in spite of living in different countries as adults. Ideal travel companions: same likes, need for new experiences, fitness levels, shared memories. Our parents regularly cautioned us: 'Don't fall out'. We never did since growing up.

Laika loves the beach so much her wag becomes a circle - she thinks she is a helicopter. Unfortunately, she got into something disgusting and ended up at the vet for a jag to make her sick. One full bowl of black, stinking stuff. Ah well, no more off lead beach walks for a bit...

Much too early, but the daffodils have decided we need something lovely to look at while the world is in a masive mess.

For my friend's upcoming big birthday - we both grew up in Denmark, so I know she will love this.

Just finished my biggest ever cross stitch work for my friend of 71 years' 80th birthday, December 2025. We grew up as neighbours in Denmark and now both live in Scotland. I thought it would take me 6 months, only took three weeks. (She is not on social media).

Nope. Pictures of me after my last round birthday are banned. But I have a lovely dog.
