Its not easy being the lone masker in 2025, but we see & appreciate you

It’s the five year anniversary of the pandemic. Five years that disabled people have been abandoned. Five years where many have excused our deaths as acceptable. Five years that we can’t even access safe healthcare. By you excluding disabled people, you’re aiding in fascism and eugenics.

I've been thinking a lot about that bumper sticker which says "everything looks like a conspiracy theory when you don't understand how anything works" and folks it's pretty obvious to me that the people in power right now have absolutely no desire to understand how anything works.

Don’t underestimate the impact you’re making when you choose to wear a mask.

You’re protecting your health & the health of your community. You’re helping ease the burden on our healthcare system.

You’re standing in solidarity with disabled people & telling the government that no one is expendable

It is exhausting having to research and figure out everything from black plastics to best ventilation practices to COVID vaccine schedules, I know this is a wild idea but have we thought about creating publicly funded government bodies that could manage and regulate this stuff on our behalf

Staying covid safe in the “you do you” era costs money. Respirators, tests, isolation, hepa filters & vaccines… the costs add up and are out of reach for many.

Long Covid is also a social justice issue.
