i mean...they're not wrong. I'm not one to speak ill of the dead, but some of charismatic prosperity televangelists (both in-person and online) are using AI versions of Charlie Kirk's voice to make speeches already. It's positively GHOULISH...they're like Ventriloquist Necromancers.

OK after reading and falling in love with "Between Two Fires," I have traveled on to "The Black Tongue Thief" and it may literally be one of the best Fantasy novels I've ever read! The author (Christopher Buehlman) is SO. DAMN. GOOD! (the rhythmic cadence of the protagonist is top-tier)

OK after reading and falling in love with "Between Two Fires," I have traveled on to "The Black Tongue Thief" and it may literally be one of the best Fantasy novels I've ever read! The author (Christopher Buehlman) is SO. DAMN. GOOD! (the rhythmic cadence of the protagonist is top-tier)

this book is SO GOOD!
I immediately saw (in my head, as you do…) “the Knight” as the guy who played “the Hound” (Clegane) in “Game of Thrones.” 🙂 I recommend though if you like creepy fiction set in the medieval times with lots of body and psychological horror.
