First one reminds me of stuffed cormorant I saw which in real life actually had a third leg, which was swollen and pink, that it used as support instead of it's tail

Well todays find was pretty awesome. Don't see Urocerus gigas very often, and we don't have many big insects here in Norway

The most beautiful species I have around my house is one I see outdoors which is attracted to light in the fall.

I once made the mistake of sucking one of these in an aspirator to do some photos. Very unpleasant. Had me coughing for several days. I didn't get the specimen in my mouth, but afterwards I read that the hair on these can give a bad reaction if you inhale them (which indeed happened).
