still... you know better than to get your hopes up re: querying, but that stuff /does/ get your hopes up, so it sucks. if there's truly no reply coming, not even a "still don't want it, bye", it does feel inconsiderate tbh 🤷‍♀️

and hey, maybe they thought the First Rejection didn't warrant a second one. or maybe an answer is still coming, even after 8 months, though i am a little skeptical

before you say "a real agent will never reach out to you!" it was a situation where they had rejected my full, then reached out months later asking to see it again bc it had been on their mind. since then, crickets, after a follow-up
