Today, members of #Lewes Urban Arboretum, #Trees Committee of Friends of Lewes, were invited to the wonderful grounds of Northease Manor School to help to plant 165 mixed native whips. Great fun, very well organised, and lovely homemade soup made by Marcus Taylor!

From 6.00 to 11.30 a.m. #Swifts have been screaming past our house in #Lewes. Entries at both sides of the double Peak box.
At times the Swifts were screaming past so close to our bedroom window that we could clearly see their smoky chocolate brown colouring.
