Sometimes you just need to stop on the side of the road to look at some sandstone. Nocona Fm (?) in Texas, Permian. 🧪 🪨 #geology

Maybe I’ll start doing that as well. This semester I get to start my crinoid research, which I’m excited for! And I saw a roadrunner, plus some cool sandstone.

🪶 Another photo of my goose friend from a couple days ago. I believe he (or she) is a Chinese Goose or a Swan Goose. I’m not sure why the pair hangs out at the local park with the other ducks and Canadian geese. They aren’t native, I wonder if they used to be pets?

These two Chinese geese (I believe that’s the species or breed?) hang out at a local pond. They seem to recognize me every time I stop by #addBirder
