That was my high school, in the 90s. I’m doubtful that shooting has any influence on this. It’s a very white working class Trumpy kind of place, at least for about half the population.

Ok, here’s how it went for me: had an appt at Fred Meyer, but when I arrived they said they can’t take my insurance (Cigna). They sent me to a Walmart across the street, which didn’t have covid vax in stock. Went to a Walgreens and finally, success! So definitely check your insurance w/ the pharmacy
