@yoshiki89.bsky.social Had a hankering for Bitch Death Teenage Mucous Monster from Hell, as one does, and I forgot the confusion I always have at the cover. My streaming service does NOT have the cover I’m used to! (I’m used to the first one.)

I just finished. Holy fuck!

SGJ mentions Christopher Buehlman in the acknowledgments and I get it. SGJ has joined him in my list of favorite current authors.

This book is amazing! @leahfromsd.bsky.social

Dr. Jane Goodall made an appearance today in Sioux City! An unbelievable time hearing her passion and hopes for animals, conservation, and the natural world. She stood and spoke for almost 90 minutes. She’s 90 years old!

She was inspiring!

Working today on a rare audiobook situation. The client apparently came back to the project manager with, "By the way, did I remember to say we need the audio file length to be a maximum of 30 minutes?"

So, I am doing some editing today. Across 7 audiobooks. #StudioRat

In my teens, I wore the Leprosy T-shirt that said, "Dying while they breathe...Death comes slow" on the back. I have posted before that I realize now this was a perfect way to ensure that I was never going to have sex or friends.

To have @leahfromsd.bsky.social like that last post means a lot! 😂

May is crazy!

Napalm Death/Melvins are playing Des Moines, Minneapolis, & Omaha. I may attend multiple shows!

I just realized that Deceased is playing Sioux Falls (5/16 @ Bigs Bar) and Des Moines!

@leahfromsd.bsky.social, there's my first S.F. concert date of 2025. You are definitely invited!

CNN, I don’t mean to sound dirty here, but we have to consider our language. Especially in a story about a romantic relationship.

The true learning to read tool that I don’t hear about anymore are read along books. As an audiobook professional, I still remember my read along books. They were on vinyl! Here’s the one I remember (@leahfromsd.bsky.social will notice this is my second reference to this movie this week!):

First extreme metal album I ever owned?

Two were given to me at the same time. Swallowed In Black by Sadus and RECIPIENTS OF DEATH S/T.
