I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

New here and jumping in! I don’t believe in resolutions, but I do try to set intentions for myself. This year, I’m re-embracing hobbies I love but have let go of for whatever reason. First up: fermentation! This cherry-ade water kefir has completed its second fermentation and is ready to enjoy. 😋
