Great job, champ!
It seems unlikely I will be awake for the lunar eclipse tonight but I did get a nice shot of the moon rising this evening.

If Schumer succeeds in passing the CR, he may require secret service protection, if he isn't already being guarded. This move would represent a shameless betrayal of Democratic voters and the nation as a whole.
I cannot emphasize this enough: no one will remember the shutdown even happened when it’s time to vote next year. One way or the other!

Many live by taking out loans, using "buy, borrow, die" strategies that keep them from ever tapping into their investments. It's quite disheartening.
I mean, if they've mortgaged themselves by borrowing against their paper wealth, and that paper wealth drops precipitously via boycotts such that they are underwater on their loans, then you can definitely hurt them. There's a reason why a certain fashy billionaire is panicking right about now.
Another thought about boycott is that a billionaire makes so much money off of the money they already have, that it's very hard to impact that. Sure, a boycott can cost them money, which they make back doing absolutely nothing.

There’s been zero explanation for this given but it seems exceedingly likely it’s pure retaliation for the Maine governor challenging Trump. Really sick.

Social Security now requires Maine parents to visit an agency office to register newborns
The change — immediately criticized by pediatric health advocates — eliminates a program that allowed parents to fill out a form at the hospital to secure a Social Security number for their children.
