I think we have far more than last year. We also have had a pair of crossbills for a year (a first), but no white throated for a few years and fewer golden crowned this the last 5 years.

It is dry as of last weekend. We have a few man made to keep the bids around. The wire covers on your baths are a great idea.

I had never heard about this variation / house finch possibility from diet etc. Super interesting. Thank you for sharing. I rarely see house finch in my area.
