It's hard even to have the energy to push back against Trump's bonehead tariffs when our own Congress, outside of a select few (I see you Sen. Murphy, Sanders, and Booker), are too spineless to do so on our behalf.

Is this what winning is supposed to feel like? I certainly don't feel liberated.

Watching these clowns from the Trump admin spin the leak of classified data as now not being classified is comical and an outright lie.

"The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."

Time for the battle of the birds. Let's go Bluejays, beat the Cardinals! U N F A Z E D

Behold! An imperfect bracket that is at this time, perfect! Would love to be wrong about my Creighton Bluejays, but it is going to be tough sledding. Happy madness!

Alabama St. with the most miraculous play to win.

…it’s gonna be a good March.

For posterity. I present the NIT bracket. For the real sickos that enjoy the lesser tournaments!

Had to go homer and go with my undergrad FAU making it a couple of rounds even though I fully expect them to lose round 1 to Dayton.

Anyone who wonders why the state of affairs in this country is so shit, just go take a look at a comment section on a Youtube video of news reporting.

The excess of people making bold claims about "knowing" the law and how profoundly wrong they are is staggering.

We are a country of imbeciles.

Time for the selection of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, the single greatest sporting event in the world.

Let’s get it! Roll Jays, go Creighton!
March 16, 2025 at 10:03 PM
With the March Madness upon us, I will be able to find some escapism from the state of affairs for at least a few weeks.

Time for the onslaught of college basketball posts! Roll Jays! Beat St. John’s and bring home the Big East title!

Trump promoting a Tesla purchase at the White House...
March 11, 2025 at 9:01 PM
Well, to nobody's surprise, Trump has further shown his complete lack of knowledge of this country's well-defined and protected laws by declaring that protesting Tesla is illegal. I cannot wait to see how the cult further twists this to make Trump out to be a genius!

To think, standing up for the rule of law and the Constitution is now a political position and not a basic American one. I cannot overstate the negative effect this administration has had and will continue to have on basic civics understanding and the public's trust in the judicial process.

Ominously making a quip about taking Greenland by force, with a likely result of creating a war costing pointless lives while laughing and to applause. The America I always believed in is dead, we are no longer on any level the world leader or well respected.

President Trump Says He Will Take Greenland "One Way or the Other"
President Trump addresses the people of Greenland saying that the island is of national security significance to the U.S. and he will take it "one way or the other."

Withholding aid to Ukraine is pathetic. Meanwhile the White House has asked the State and Treasury to draft options for easing Russia sanctions. In addition, all Americans will suffer these 25% tariffs. If you voted for this prick, congrats on all the winning, man are we great!….fucking idiots.

Watching British Prime Minister Starmer greet and speak with Zelensky like an adult compared to the middle school bully behavior of Trump is as much refreshing as it is a big notice to the world that the USA is no longer the leader or even a leader of the western world. It’s beyond apparent.

GOP town halls across the country erupting in frustration and outrage directed at GOP elected leaders is a positive sign. A positive sign that Republican voters are finally seeing through the smoke and mirrors of MAGA policies. Shame it took personal impact to cause it though. Learned empathy…

I am ashamed of what I have witnessed play out today in the meeting between Trump and his cabinet and President Zelensky. The amount of disrespect and unpresidential candor from Trump and JD Vance was to be expected, but still highly disappointing. The world is watching and we are faltering.

My latest article in The Hill is up today and I suggest reading if the Constitution is of interest.

"As a society, we must come together to ensure American democracy stays true to its foundational principles despite the opposing rhetoric of our president and his team."

I wrote about the January 6th Pardons in The Hill earlier this month and am reposting after Proud Boys Enrique Tarrio confronted a former capital police officer, Michael Fanone, calling him a "coward". He has since been arrested for assaulting a woman in DC. Disgraceful.

Biden’s pardons raised eyebrows, but Trump’s insulted justice itself
For those not blinded by partisan politics, there is an obvious difference between Biden’s preemptive pardons and these Trump pardons.

If you watch the women at a Town Hall in Iowa get dragged out in zip-ties and think to yourself, "this is fine" or "serves her right", then I hate to break it to you, you're not a good person. This type of treatment in America, with hundreds of on-lookers is chilling.
