Nog yourself out! 🤭 Also, am I delusional or the Nog song in the background could actually have been an inspiration for Freezeezy Peak’s amazing song? ❄️⛄️

Ouch, I hope you’re well now. It’s crazy how reckless some people are on e-scooters. I wonder if they’d be as reckless if they owned them instead of sharing them. Plus, you don’t need a license to ride these (at least not where I live), so many people don’t know the safety rules.

What happened there David? From the video it's unclear whether you've hit a pothole or had been suddenly immobilized by an invisible alien force.

OK, I was expecting things to break when I enabled intrusion detection and I ended up blocking a few services without wanting to (like mDNS)

Next steps:
- Introduce monitoring of essential network services
- Isolate and adjust the rules that block services
- Re-enable Suricata on the local network

Honestly more hyped for Yooka-Replaylee than DK Bananza. @playtonicgames.com seems to have nailed the Rare vibe this time — fixing pacing, polish, and charm. Closest we’ve gotten to that Banjo-era magic in years:

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see a new DK on Switch 2—but skeptical it’s a real DK game. It’s missing that raw, weighty platforming and rhythm of the classics. Feels more like Mario Odyssey in a DK skin: sandboxy, bouncy, light. Fun maybe—but not the primal DK vibe we crave.

Creative talent was squandered on reboots and canceled projects instead of building on what made Rare iconic: inventive, character-driven worlds with mechanical depth and charm. What could've been a golden revival is now reduced to missed potential and layoffs.

It’s a shame because Rare’s IPs — Banjo-Kazooie, Conker, Jet Force Gemini, Perfect Dark — could have flourished on Switch 2 with Nintendo’s platformer legacy and fanbase. Instead, Microsoft buried them under live-service priorities and mismanaged vision.
