This was in response to the way Shoob went about contacting Breeze, which was unsavoury and bothered me.
Not making excuses, I was a dick about it because I was annoyed at their behaviour, but regardless I am still sorry.
I feel all this could have been avoided by just, talking in the first place. 😬

To be clear, I made this from a reference, without tracing it, to prove that things being similar doesn’t mean that they’re traced.
As I say in the thread, yeah it was a bad move, but I made it because the whole situation was nuts, not to mock Shoob, and I do apologise for it coming across that way.

It seems to me that Breeze has been told she ‘traced’ the art, and that’s the problem. If the actual problem is they don’t like their art being referenced so closely, traced or not, then I’m sure things can change and be sorted. Everyone just needs to be in the same page to move forwards.

Yes, you’re right. It does suck that I did that, and I’m owning up to that. But that was me, not Breeze or anyone else, so they shouldn’t share the blame for that.
As for the art, I think people just need to talk, because it seems to me messages got mixed up somewhere.

To be clear, I’m not justifying doing shitty things for shitty reasons, I was just pissed off. The reason I was still using it is cause I was under the impression that it was accepted that it wasn’t traced after all, so all was good, I didn’t know it was an ongoing upset.

My point is there could have been an amicable conversation about it
Rather than everyone going full attack mode from the get go, a conversation woulda gone a long way
Hell, I thought it was all over with, so when I saw this today and realised it was bothering them, first thing I did was remove mine.

I’m won’t deny that I made it in mean spirits, because of the way they interacted with Breeze about it bothered me, and again it was to prove a point that making something from observation doesn’t = tracing.
As for the art, they said to stop using it because it was traced, when it was not.

Overall, I think it's worth everyone just calming down, and talking it out. I know from Breeze's side, she was waiting for your reply, and had assumed you realised "Hey, maybe she didn't trace it after all" and that's why you stopped. Rather than all tearing our heads off, lets just sort it out.

It wasn't intended to mock you, I have made a few jokes about me 'tracing' Breeze's, because I find the absurdity of the situation, how all of it was handled to be, well, absurd. This could have been just talked over, but was approached with such anger, and it escalated far beyond what it had to be.

I feel I should interject here. Nobody has been mocking you, and the only person making fun of the whole situation was me, so if you have to direct your anger at anyone, let it be me. I made a PNG tuber based on Breeze's, that I drew by eye, no tracing, just to prove how similar pieces can be.
