The funny side detail there is how much that 12 - 20 billion year estimate for the age of the universe has been refined and improved since Sagan's day. It hasn't been that long, but even by astronomy standards cosmology moves incredibly fast.

I don't understand how he can be both so good and so prolific, but I assume illicit cloning is involved.

I'd forgotten about these but they were awesome (and eat-the-whole-bag-in-a-sitting dangerous) and now I miss them again.

That makes sense to me (it's something I could see myself doing in a survey for one thing) but it raises an interesting question. How do you design a survey to figure out who's *actually* leaving?

The "crock of sauce" conceit is particularly funny in a world of squeeze bottles.
