Not the biggest update, but excited to be cresting the last of my major systems additions and getting through the game from A to Z.

After I get that done, I can start introducing the actual #Horror to this #HorrorGame... the creatures!

Honestly, you're right. Much like being a DnD DM, you're the god of this world, make it make sense to match the vibe you're trying to portray.

I really like the moodiness and sharpness of shadows at this angle, so here they shall be. :)

Man oh man is lighting hard sometimes a hard set of choices to make. Realism, drawing the player's eye in a particular direction, being able to properly see set pieces I spent lots of time on; there's multiple influences at play and there doesn't seem to be a right or wrong choice.

Woah! 1k followers!! 🥳🎉 As promised, I put together a small montage of before/afters I was able to make thanks to duplicating levels during the design process. I'm still working on lighting/polishing but plan on following up with an even better version soon.

Blender may not be as easy as getting assets at the... flip of a switch, but you can *make* your own flip switch almost as easily!

As I make my final level passes, I keep trying to speed up, finish quickly, but I'm always pulled back into arranging each of my areas just so.

I love the little human details of a lived-in area. The cause and effect of time, or the elements. No one else may notice a little detail, but I will. ♥️

Of all the levels, the cemetery's glow-up has been my favorite. I used more ivy and taller grass here than anywhere else to both up the creep factor and sell how abandoned and isolated this place has been.

There's nothing like a polishing and foliage pass to help you feel like it's all really coming together. Ironing down levels one by one before diving back into systems and fleshing out the level movers.

Makes for plenty of nice before and after pics to throw up here.

There's nothing like a polishing pass to boost the ole ego. Finally sitting down and figuring out how to improve the open spaces in my game. Still a WIP but I can't wait to have a finished world to finally start putting all my systems into.

God, if there's one thing #DigitalCircus does well, it's stuffing tiny little hints throughout each episode. Hints to each character, hints to past histories, hints to other lore.

Who's Abel, and was there as equally biblical a betrayal in his backstory with Caine?
