I purchased an expensive casio watch.

東京から戻る。二泊三日の出張の最後は担当編集と芝大門付近で打ち合わせた。春先から執筆開始の予定。この付近にかつて伯父のオフィスがあり、そこで、小津安二郎の傑作「東京物語」の助監督を務めた作家高橋治に出会ったことがある。広告会社にいた頃の話だ。「君、この伯父さんと血が繋がっているの？それじゃ、頭割れているね」と随分なことを言われたことを思い出しながら近所の新亜飯店で小籠包を食べた。
