Tonight's movie.
I've had a hankering to watch this the last few days.
As good as a Todd Solondz film is, it's probably for the best not to examine where the hankering for watching one comes from.

Tonight's movie.
As highly as I think of this film, I'll always be torn about the historical inaccuracy in it. I understand the idea and need of dramatic license, but this one goes a little too far. And people don't realize how excessive it is.

Once again, Kang and Kodos were not on the ballot.

Well, as far as I know, at least.

Tonight's movie.
This'll make five straight Halloween nights I've watched this. I suppose that means I should maybe look into having more things to do than sit in my apartment by myself.

Tonight's movie.
A Halloween regular for me.
Though one of these years I'm going to remember to watch it on October 2nd instead of at the end of the month.
(If you know the film and think about it for a second, you'll understand why)

Can't have a Halloween season without-

Blood? Blood. Blood.

And bits of sick

Tonight's movie.
Japanese and Korean horror films from the naughts and 10s are some of the best. And this one is one the best of those.

Tonight's movie.
It has been a very long time, but I know I've seen this before. I just don't remember when that was.

Tonight's movie.
Thought I'd watch this and Manhunter back to back this year. See if it changes my feelings about either one.

Tonight's movie.
One of my favorites. I might actually also watch Silence of the Lambs this month too. Though not the rest of them.

Tonight's movie.
I saw this in the theater back in the day, and like all digital films back then, the transfer to film for theatrical release didn't look too good. But now watching it without that added step it looks gorgeous.

Tonight's movie.
One of the rare occasions where the film is better than the book it's adapted from.

Tonight's movie.
After the over the top body horror in The Substance last night, I've been hankering to watch this all day.

I've actually been keen to watch this one for a while. And it definitely sounds appropriate for Halloween season.
October 14, 2025 at 12:29 AM
Tonight's movie.
For me this one is both the most underrated Carpenter film and King adaptation.

Tonight's movie.
I'm not sure, but think I've watched this only once, and that was a very long time ago. The whole franchise vibe around this kinda killed my interest. But the latest outing in it was pretty good. And Ridley Scott is always worth watching.

Tonight's movie.
The only thing we got going for us in this country right now is that the people in charge are actually even more absurd, incompetent, and stupid than the 50s commissars are portrayed here.
It's not much, and kinda depressing, but it's something.
