A flash back to last weekend when we visited @amgueddfacymru.bsky.social St Ffagans Museum of Welsh Life and accidentally came third in the pub quiz at The Vulcan (the other half of our group won it). A lovely day #stffagans #afinedayout

Blue skies and the sun on my face are the best pick me up. I’m hoping spring is finally here #bristolinspringtime #cheery

Very fine scandi salt box added to my dresser collection this week. I try not to buy too much these days but sometimes something is just right and has to be brought home. #scandiceramics #midcenturyceramics #dresserstilllife

Some day a small child may ask you to make them a cheese with a hole in it big enough for their stuffed robin to sit in. Should that happen to you I am ideally placed to advise on fulfilling their request #godchildrenarefabulous #iamamaker

Lots of rest this weekend, sitting on my sofa, working on some craft projects and looking at one I just finished. It’s been a good one. #takingarest #iamamaker #makersky

Another piece of my work back from the lovely Sara Barns and transformed into a very fine cushion. Mr T thinks he will be able to cremate me on a raft of them when I go. He may not be entirely incorrect …

I don't want to be on ghastly x anymore but it's where a lot of my sales come from so this post is a brazen request for shares to spread the word about my work on a kinder platform that isn't run by a dangerous megalomaniac!

Today is St Brigid’s Day / Imbolc / Candlemas /the first day of Spring. Whatever your tradition let’s be happy that in the Northern Hemisphere at least the light is coming back and things are starting to grow. The picture is The Coming Of Bride by John Duncan

This view is my proof that the light is returning. Same time, every week, each time the sun is higher in the sky. It’s very cheering.

Yesterday was more exciting than planned as an electrical fire in a manhole outside the house meant no power for most of the day. On the upside, a kind friend leant me her sofa and I got to walk there over the ever changing graffitied railway bridge. It’s all good.
