The Special Edition of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge celebrates its 15th anniversary today. Even though I really enjoyed playing Secret, this was the game that really got me into Monkey Island as a whole. Frankly, there were so many hilarious moments that I can't even fit them all in this post!
Guybrush Threepwood inside the woodsman's shop. He asks the woodsman how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. Guybrush at a spitting contest. He attempts to spit, but he fails and the spittle hangs through his mouth. Guybrush pulls out a monkey wrench (emphasis on the word "monkey") with a cheeky smile on his face. Guybrush uses a call box, which is located on a single tree deep in the Dinky Island jungle. He uses a number to call the LucasArts Games hint line.

Today is the 50th anniversary of Jaws, so I wanted to share this card I did as part of a set of art cards I made all the way back in high school, as well as the full set itself.

Naturally, the shark is underwater, so the card is colored in shades of blue, from the very light blue of the surface to deep, dark blue of the depths. There was a Stan doodle that I was working on that I only now just remembered yesterday. Though I'm not entirely settled on this design for him, I didn't want to leave it unfinished either.

God of War celebrates its 20th anniversary today.

The first game was honestly fairly difficult, even on normal mode. I say this mainly because of the Temple of Pandora levels, which make up the bulk of the game. That being said, I had a ton of fun, and it was a great introduction to the series.

The packaging was a little bigger than I expected, but I'm thrilled to add this to my collection. Amadeus has very recently risen to one of my top favorite films of all time, so I couldn't resist getting my hands on the soundtrack!

Found the reason why the Blue Jays were goin' off
A Swallow-Tailed Kite in mid-air. Swallow-Tailed Kites can glide on thermals and updrafts, as this one is doing. These birds become a particularly common sight around spring and summer in the Southeastern US. Swallow-Tailed Kites can catch and eat their food while flying. They eat insects, frogs, small snakes, and even small birds, often by taking them off treetops.
