Hey, I like miniatures, TTRPGs and TT War Games. I also like cats, even those who unfortunately like miniatures. Noir (especially classic and Nordic) and dystopian science fiction are cool in fiction, not irl.

I might follow you back if you have posts that are not all reposts, and not horrible.
Them: It is pretty mild, but it is surgery, so don’t do any lifting for two days.

Me: Why is my recovery taking so long…

Me, to the big (dumb) ginger: *snaps* I have the pets.

>Thud bang bang<

Tuxie: I love you! And I will parkour over the house to come to the snap…

Ginger: Uh wait, why does he get pets…

I have had three great interests in my life Politics (graduate degree), Travel (career) and TT Gaming (current job). I avoid politics right now, do not travel much and I am pretty much left to talking about Games.

This makes me sad, I miss my country in so many ways.

A bit humid with a pair of storms hanging out, but I have some White Scars and some T-28s in need of a spray.

Also put together a Thunderhawk for Legions Imperialis (more White Scars). Also, I hope aircraft work in Legions Imperialis, because my White Scars are going have 9 for 1500pts.

So, excited I have a bunch of stuff coming up. Two D&D teen sessions on Saturdays at Atomic Empire starting on the 20th. A new tabletop blog starting this week. I started working on Adventurers League adventures, a Neverwinter Noir series. And I hope to get some character generation videos started.

Day 1: I am crafting again, yay! Six houses with ruins (from paperterrain.com ‘s Central Europe collection 6mm). Still need some minor touch ups, but I am excited for the new Army Painter pens, so that will wait. Legions Imperialis for scale in background. Also worked on some Sci-Fi 28mm.

Me: I got work to do…

Queenie: No, bad human.

All ya dudes be like, “Why don”t you get your girl to do the laundry?”

Me, because she is worse than me at it. Also, she has been looking for her birthday gifts for three weeks, and can’t find them. They are in my clean but unfolded laundry basket… She has never gotten with three feet of them.

Just got back from Dollywood, and her friends took some awesome pictures that I love. Ali does not love them so you don’t get to see them. But she is super smiling behind the 9-5 desk.

Week 3, Day 16. Light box is up, need one more usb outlet to for great lighting. Finished up, sealed and hid some of the white space on this Modern to Sci-fi furniture. Goblin is just in there for scale.

Day 15 of Modeling, nothing impressive, just sealing and packing away some of the work I have done this week.

Day 14 of crafting, more worldworks furniture in that chunky 28mm style. Mostly easy box folds.
July 19, 2025 at 4:05 AM
Crafting day 13: Some chunky 28mm furniture from World Works… light night as I was playing Pathfinder and just doing folds and glue stick. But I am happy with the results.

Was not distracted with the game - but it was just box folds so nothing complicated.

Day 12 of crafting. I did a little washing and flocked two figures - but gave up as that was way too much work for the payoff. Got a company of Soviet Rifles on magnets so I can swap to individual bases if I want. All they need is sealing. Humidity willing I will knock that out this weekend.

Week 2 (Day 9) of crafting. It is amazing how much covering the white makes a difference. I do not think this is a great basing technique, so I will use these bases for other units. I am going to just use Wargame Accessories Metal bases for this unit. (The snipers are based this way.)

Today (day 8) I put some magnets on a Soviet Rifle company so I can switch them out between games.

Day 7, a pair of true 15 sci fi buildings. I feel like I have been slacking off today and yesterday, but if I did this for three months I could probably fill my table in 15mm.
July 12, 2025 at 3:13 AM
Day 6: Some cargo containers and low walls.
July 11, 2025 at 4:05 AM
Tonight’s take (modeling/crafting day 5) 6 buildings in the 22mm mistake scale. A large 15 soldier and a small 15 tank and the buildings look good, but will look big with true 15 buildings.

Day 4: two kiosks for 22mm Science Fiction Wargaming. I think I know where I will be building the light box this weekend. Won’t improve my modeling but will make the pictures cooler.
July 9, 2025 at 4:27 AM
I realize, if I am going to keep the daily craft posts going, I will need to find a better place to do the photos so I can set up a light box. Sorry for all the crappy photos.

A rough day 3, did some yard work - and in the south, between the heat and rain I was cooked. Did some low rubble corners and starship containers by Dave Graffam, and a ruined building that was in my “to make” box. Roughly 22mm scale (I learned for 28/32mm to 15/18mm print 4:1 page, not 2:1).

This was beyond my skill level. There is some stuff I can do to make it look not as bad in finishing. A green was over a layer of sealer will help with the roof. And hopefully the glue won’t clump.

It will look fine on the table.

So, I am trying to get back into posting some of my wargaming crafting. To share cool things and because doing crafts is calming. Here are some Russian Houses from paperterrain.com that I made tonight.

Gobbo was feeling insecure last night. So he came and touched my face until I petted him or when I stopped patting him.

At 4:40AM … big black rings under the eyes now.
