I am in the process of sorting through the many books I have inherited from family who have passed on or who are simply downsizing. I'm finally also starting to inherit bookshelves so I can free these columns from their boxes.

Moving along in the process of socializing my semi-feral kittens. Miss Delilah Dodge is the braver of the two. Master Walter Tardy is late to the party. I can get him to eat in front of me and lick chicken baby food off my finger, but using the litter box with me in the room was giving him fits.

It's still coming down as snow, though it's supposed to change to winery mix at some point. In the 5 years I've lived in Atlanta, we've only ever had flurries. This is kinda fun!

A rare sight for Atlanta. They canceled school for today yesterday, while it was brightly sunny out, which is wise, because ATL drivers are horrible on dry streets. I'm not going anywhere today!

I've spent all evening scanning and cleaning up family photos for Christmas gifts. I just had to share how gorgeous my grandparents were. First photo is them dancing at their engagement party, which was probably held in DC or NYC. The wedding photo is from Governor's Island, NYC, 1951.
