He also did this during Trump's first term, so it's been in effect for a while now. You can apply it to pretty much anything his campaign/administration/supporters have said/done from the past 10 years.

The multicolored tracksuits and martial-arts weapons definitely seem like a reference to Power Rangers, but we also see another group of characters in colorful onesies living in a post-apocalyptic/post-human setting earlier in the film.

Unlike a lot of the movies in this thread, Ben Wheatley's FREE FIRE is only a slim 90 minutes, but it could have absolutely benefitted from more impactful editing. The central gunfight has all of the tension and stakes of a teambuilding-retreat paintball match, and no sense of internal geography.
