I think people who continue to use Twitter have battered spouse syndrome. I said it. They know they are in a bad relationship (Twitter) and can find peace elsewhere (BlueSky), but they continue to stay with the abuser out of systemic abuse and fear of losing the good they have there. #TwittterSucks

Even with Musk stepping away, I think it’s too late for him to fix what he broke. People know who he is and what he stands for. That isn’t going to change just because he isn’t pulling the strings of DOGE or POTUS any longer.
