I run this in my Varchild deck and its one of the most decisive ways to close out games. I think its fine in the format, high cmc spells should do something big and impactful.

That was the main sour part of an otherwise stellar ep1 for me. Thought it might just be one off, and watched the whole season. I was very unhappy with the situation the cliff hanger finale leaves off on... It is a fun show, but man it could do without leaning into those elements so hard and often.

I'm just really curious what the story is there and how it fits into the timeline, especially since we are told Loki specifically proposed to Lola and that simply replacing her with Chiffron wasn't okay. Maybe it was love? Or maybe he had bigger picture plans in mind.

Was just watching someoene's reaction to Thriller Bark and remembered Lola and Loki were engaged. I wonder if they bonded over their family situations (missing 1 parent, hating the other) and coordinated the proposal and break off to ruin it for Big Mom. Or maybe Loki just liked her rebelliousness.

For real, and the foil treatments of alternate art cards looks and feels SOOO GOOOD! Magic is sorta trying to get better with that, but BANDAI has them beat hard.

Awesome, what leader did you play? The card designs are pretty simple (compared to modern Magic at least lol) but I like how the complexity comes from having no phases. The open endednes of the turn sequencing leads to lots of interesting decision points.
