You got me back, guys. Said goodbye to my son this morning after 10 days. They gave me a gate pass so I got to hang out with him for 2 hrs more. The outside gardens at GSP are always nice, especially when it's cool out. This place is luxury compared to flying out of $#@* ATL.

Shirt check. Cloak's been having a $15 sale on shirts and they finally got me to fold. Bonus: I didn't know it was printed on the back, too. Nice 🖤💜 Also got here in one day. I won't be paying shipping/tariffs on anything from overseas for the foreseeable future, so... a local band it is!

This big baby is getting neutered this morning and I'm stranded in the local Starbucks waiting for him because the shelter is over an hour away from home and driving almost 5 hours back and forth today was not on my priority list! He was so scared when I dropped him off 🥺

Happening in my yard: tons of figs, fungi. (Black staining polypore, edible but not my thing- kinda tough, wish it had been chicken of the woods). It's been raining nonstop, I need to get some tick spray on me and venture out into the woods.

I've given up keeping puppers off the couch. I think she likes her new life with me. 🥰 This is the first time she's fallen asleep on me and also the first time she's exposed her belly. She finally feels safe and content.

And I was really quite charitable in my suggestion. If you've lost multiple pairs of Airbuds and have a self-described retail problem, you are in no place to expect other people to pick up the bill for your fiscal irresponsibility. And I'm the asshole. LOL. At least I hold myself accountable.

This is my baby at her intake at the shelter about 6 weeks ago. Her owner was charged with 4 counts of felony animal cruelty. She lived in filth, without food or water and was covered in wounds and had a big abscess on her face. 😔

My new babies had a great first night, and have been playing hard all day. Phoebe finally was able to get a bath since it was 10 days since her spay. She's so soft and clean now, like a little mink. I think washing the weight of her old, cruel life (she came from a cruelty case) must feel good.

We were out on this beautiful lake yesterday, I can't believe how clear and blue it is! I'm a few hours we leave for Grand Rapids to see Ghost again. Michigan is really beautiful. 💜

This morning was for comfort albums. I've been generally stressed this year and not in the mood for much new music. Every Friday I see it all in my TL and it just makes me feel tired. I know I'm not alone in this sentiment, we all go through cycles and right now I'm in a dormant one, overwhelmed.

Anyway, today was sheet pan creamy zucchini pasta. It's a vegan recipe but I made some adjustments, adding grilled chicken and real dairy. I tried chickpea pasta for the first time- not bad (and more protein and fiber)

Latest Autumn Nostalgie has been a slow burn for me, gradually warming up to it with each listening. I just don't think anything can ever quite hit like their masterpiece, Esse est Percipi. An album I don't recommend live, but rather walking through the woods with headphones.

You can live a very full and active life with this condition, you just have to take care of yourself. Here's me at a recent Ghost show wearing thin compression tights under fishnets, as I just had a procedure and have to wear them for 6 weeks. Do I like it? No. Is it infinitely less painful? Yes.

Some pics from Ghost last night, we had the best time and with the phone ban, people actually talked with each other. We met so many fun people. Danced and sang all night long. Sweat my ass off. 10/10 will do again.
