15 years ago today, I flew to Boston to start grad school.
20 years ago Sunday, I drove* to LA to start university.
This week has all the nostalgia milestones. What a journey it’s been!

Earlier this week, I got some good professional news and my husband opened a bottle of bubbly 🍾 and ordered us a fancy meal 🥘 and for one night in 2021 I got to party like it’s 2019*
*which for the record is not nearly as fun as partying like it’s 1999 because I’m old & boring

It was heart-wrenching to give this talk today of all days. #Boulder is the heart of #AtmosChem 💔

This is not to demean the success of the current fellows (who are all amazing!) or suggest the process is flawed. Rather, we all need to make sure deserving women are being nominated. The AS canvassing committee is looking for names RIGHT NOW. Send them some worthy candidates!
