Post emerge spray day in our herbicide banding x cover crop experiment. We are banding herbicide over the rows and seeding cover crops in between. We have found that we can band spray soybean, grow a cover crop, and yield better than the provincial average all while reducing herbicide use by 73%!

Testing out our new sweep plough for cover crop termination. Seems there is a fine line between skimming the surface and burying it in the soil. This time it worked

Seeding cover crops after potato harvest has been gaining traction over the past few years in Atlantic Canada. Yesterday I was out checking on our test plots evaluating different species sown post-harvest to see which provides the best soil cover overwinter. #sustainable #agriculture #plantscience
