I am not sure where this took place, they need a judicial warrant, UNLESS they are within "100 Air Miles" or (as the crow flies) from a border or exterior coastline. ICE agents have ZERO powers of arrest in non Immigration related matters. Kick them out. Call local LEOs. SWAT them.

IT WAS A DATA BREACH AND VIOLATION OF ANY COMPLIANCE STANDARDS. PCI, SOC, ISO. They shouldn't have been able to connect a storage device to any system with access to the data. Multiple controls should have prevented access. I would have physically stopped them, and had them physically removed!

I still object to the author’s assertion that they are taking money from California fire to fund these things. They will have to show the connection. There are a lot of reasons why budgets fluctuate. Once you have approved a budget for a program it’s not always possible to move funds laterally.

Do you know what I love about social media? There is absolutely no expectation of truth. Why was the original post an image rather than a link to the actual story? Probably because the story didn’t exist, or people are to lazy to confirm that it’s truth that they just post a graphic.
