There's a cookie shop two doors down from my dentist's office so clearly the universe wanted me to have a little treat. I got the peanut butter, sweet cornbread and snickerdoodle on top, hubs got the cookies & cream, s'mores and red velvet cheesecake on the bottom.

Just finished this book- a historical fantasy set in WWI era Paris. Fantasy is my favorite genre because it reminds me to dream. And it got me thinking about the literacy crisis in America. Reading isn't just about factual comprehension & critical thinking, although those are both crucial.
