I love all of you kind, empathetic people, genuinely. It's really hard not to feel bitter right now given the state of the country, (I've fallen into that trap myself) but being reminded about all the good people out there who care is very helpful. Don't lose yourself to bitterness. We need you. 💙

It's such a disgusting and dehumanizing term. The lack of empathy felt towards another human being that could compel someone to label an entire person's life in such a way is concerning, and it's present on such a large scale. The lack of empathy, not its presence, is the problem in society.

Ugh, what a damn shame. Especially with RIT/NTID considering the massive Deaf student population and excellent interpreting program.
