The tee boxes were in very good condition and the greens were mint. The fairways were kind of weird with a lot of tuft grass spots everywhere, but in good condition otherwise. Would love to see it in the summer. Bunkers also in very good condition.

BBA is an extremely FUN track. A great mixture of par 4s that skew on the shorter side. The par 3s are gorgeous, but not easy. #6 in particular has a thin green over water, with a bunker short. The par 5s are somewhat forgettable imo, but solid holes.

It's not an easy course... From the blues it plays all of 6500 yds. But the fairways are much wider than you might expect from N GA Golf. I never felt too nervous off the tee.

It's not an easy course... From the blues it plays all of 6500 yds. But the fairways are much wider than you might expect from N GA Golf. I never felt too nervous off the tee.

Cobblestone is one of those courses that is almost always safe to recommend. Conditions are always solid and the views along Lake Acworth are beautiful.
It's not a very long course, but there's danger lurking on many holes.

I will say... It's better than it was 3 years ago when every bunker was under repair.
Also, the closing hole is pretty cool. Long par 5 to an island green.
I think this course just suffers immensely from the Georgia clay/elevation changes and the greens ability to grow in the shade.

The good: Driving range, 70% of the greens were ok, and bunker sand.
The bad: Basically everything else. Tee boxes were sand boxes and so many fairways had washed out areas. The layout is so weird and some of holes are borderline impossible.

I don't mind a round starting in the 30s, but I need the high to get into the 50s.
If I see the high only in the 40s, I'm out.
