what the fuck happens when companies are actually capable of replacing actors and writers? will strikes be met with AI scabs, replacing them without a second thought of their demands? if it gets to that point, it should be met with rejection and boycott in entirety.
I really hope some of you all understand why actors would strike before hard evidence of genAI use in certain game titles existed, and why they would do so even outside of the strict purview of a union.

i mean seriously, it’s exhausting every time i have to turn to someone to say “maybe you don’t need to generate your playlist with ai” or “why can’t you just google that”. people are replacing their frontal lobes with chatgpt. every time i open an application with a sparkly symbol i sigh.
